FLUX V2 FOCUS

FAST, EASY & WITH LONGER LASTING PERFORMANCE
In terms of performance, the Flux V2 sits bang in between the Flow (easy, all round / wave performance) and the Flux V2 Ultra-X (Aluula-tuned very high performance freeriding).

WHAT’S NEW COMPARED TO THE FLUX V1?

• The Flux V2’s revised high aspect-ratio shape and profile offers greater low end performance, along with more top end control.
• The switch to a stiffer and thicker Teijin triple ripstop dacron on the leading edge and strut has allowed us to create a stiffer airframe.
• The combination of stiffer air frame as well further refined sail shaping has led to improved sail tension throughout.

The much appreciated, sporty, top-end characteristics of the Flux V1 have all improved. Whether streaking upwind, tacking, gybing or making technical jumps and flips, every part of your riding game will feel smoother and more controlled.

SHAPE AND TENSION
PERFORMANCE MADE EASY
Since the launch of the Flux V1 in May 2023 we’ve spent almost two years working on material refinement and tension management.
Better aerodynamics improve the wing’s ease of handling, helping you to improve your riding skills much quicker.

• The unique seam layout gives the wing a much improved chordwise and longitudinal canopy tension.
• The wing will feel tighter and newer for longer. No matter how hard you push your riding each session you’ll feel less drop off in performance over a longer period.
• The refined sail tension with new anti-flap battens produce a very taut trailing edge. Not only will you feel more control at higher speeds, you’ll also find that overhead wing manoeuvres are easier and more comfortable.

HANDLES
As featured on our Flow wing and the new Fusion V2 Ultra-X, the Flux V2 and Flux V2 Ultra-X feature the longer front handle. Both the front and rear handles are EVA covered rigid carbon, with finger bumps for extra grip.

Offering a huge range of flexibility in hand positioning, these handles still allow the wing to be packed down to a small, compact size.

• The longer front handle makes finding your sweet spot for one handed steering easier, opening up all sorts of expressive carving manoeuvres in flat water.
• Instead of riding with a locked-in two-handed position, you can maintain power and control while holding the wing out to the side in one hand, offering a very fluid and free feeling.
• Meanwhile, the new, stiffer leading edge handle delivers high levels of control with the wing flagged out.

GUIDING YOUR CUSTOMERS AS THEY CHOOSE BETWEEN THE TWO FLUX MODELS
BASED ON PRICE?
The biggest significant difference between the two wings is the price, with Aluula being a more expensive material. If your customer’s budget is a limiting factor, you can be extremely confident in guiding them towards the Flux V2.

The Flux V2 is a sensational freeride wing. Compared to the Flux V1, all areas of performance have been upgraded.

BASED ON DURABILITY?
The Flux V2 airframe is thicker than the Flux V1, as we’ve switched to the same Teijin Dacron as used on the Flow.

You may be wondering why we chose to use a thicker Teijin triple ripstop Dacron on the Flux V2 than was used on the Flux V1?
Since the Flux V1 launch, we learnt a lot while developing the Flow. The Flux V2 features the same Teijin triple ripstop dacron airframe as the Flow.
Along with new sail shaping design and increased tension, the Flux V2 air frame is now stiffer than the Flux V1, offering even more performance.

The thicker air frame material is also generally more durable when it comes to abrasion on the beach, compared to both the Flux V1 and the Flux V2 Ultra-X with its Aluula airframe.

BASED ON PURE PERFORMANCE?
The Flux V2 Ultra-X is a supercharged Flux V2 – with more aerodynamic performance potential in all areas. Ride faster and harder with total control and more aggressive upwind angles.

The Flux V2 Ultra-X is also on average 20% lighter than the V2 model, so offers even more manoeuvrability, particularly when drifting and during overhead manoeuvres. The new stiffer leading edge handle on both wings also delivers more drifting control.
